Introduction (of a sort)

 Welcome

Hello there everyone. You have encountered my blog. Yes my title is rather crazy to behold, But do bear with. I am sure all of us at one point in our lives have encountered our friends and their various behaviors. I am no exception as I too have had moments such as these. So this place, is to express what to do with such things. Today, currently; for this page, its just for what else is to come. Whoever it is out there; nice to meet you. Whether you approve, or disprove is up to you. All these ideas are just things on what I've experienced before and how to deal with them.

Now that the Introduction is kinda done. Tomorrow (possibly) will be another one.

#1 Meet People (Of course. I mean where do they come from?)

 Meet People

I mean they are out there, come on now

So first; you need to meet these beings. Get to know them. Know they exist. No you are not going to sit there waiting for them to come to you. Are you for real? You have legs. Use them. I am sure you have two. If you have four then I'm already concerned on what you experimented with.

This means; go out your damn door; or whatever entrance you have; and talk. Hell, you can go online for all I care. But find them. They are there. They are not meaningless aliens; unless that's your belief, then I won't argue. I'll just wonder at your priorities.

#2 Talk to said People

 Talk to said People

So when you have officially exited that door of yours (finally). Now you are to find these lovely beings and start talking. But before we even get there. What will you even talk about?

Do they like me? Will they hate me? Am I the right binary code? Am I this or that?

Well if we want them to get to know us. We got to ask them questions. Let's not play guesswork on them unless if course they start reading out minds suddenly. Assumptions are dangerous social tools. Don't overuse unless you're some scientist estimating gravitational theory of a square. On a side note, don't do that.

#3 Ask About Them

 Ask About Them

(And Let them ask about you. Don't take over it you Heartless beast)

So, people require conversation. Unless of course both of you want to be silent and not say anything. By all means.

Ask about their life

What they enjoy

Who they are

Their jobs

Their activities

Their quirks

I could go on and on and on; but you'd get bored of me telling you how to talk to people. You can use your mouth, can't you? If you can't then sign language it is. It's conversation. Do it

#4 When Talking to Said Person

#4 When Talking to Said Person

If you want to do communication. You might need to move said mouth and whatever function does that. Let's not be tooo quiet! This ain't no silent film, geez.

1. Say "Hello" and whoever you are. If you're a secret agent, then let it be whatever alias. I don't care who you are. Introduce yourself!

2. Be a decent person. Even if you have to be half nice. Don't give gifts straight up (are you desperate??). And be yourself, even with the extra weird tendencies and limbs and parts etc etc.

3. Start asking questions about who they are. Don't play guesswork and psychic, ASK.

4. If it's successful, make a date. Now, you have technology, talk to them further! Meet them somewhere, accept they exist and that you aren't the only thing revolving around this planet. Watch their back. Help them if they helped you. All the stuff those people called friends are supposed to do.

(5. If they start feeling shifty or uncomfortable. Tell them to back away so you have running space. Defend yourself if necessary

6. If still further uncomfortable and you've somehow gotten in their grasp. Time to run. You can use your feet I'm sure?)

#5 That Lovely Word; Commitment

 #5 That Lovely Word; Commitment

So; we all know this. If we are to have friends. We need to commit to them. After we have figured out how to talk; introduced ourselves etc. Now, what about actually doing something about this new found friendship.

What does your schedule look like? Can you fit them in? Or are you going to scramble into your datebook and then run and ditch them? Now don't be a serial cad. If they are your friend, COMMIT. Actually be there. Don't say you got something set then run off like a mad person

If you can't actually make it. TELL THEM. We all have lives and we can't fit every human being on our ever growing schedule of friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, companies, and international robbery (if that is your thing). Be supportive and let them know. Don't assume they know already. We can't read their minds. Goodness. If they are not ok. CHECK ON THEM. Text them even if they are working. Let them know you think about them.

Aka

COMMIT, COMMIT, COMMIT

Means; do it. Don't be a half-hearted ass and say you do, then go to Pluto without them. That's rude. If they don't answer, don't expect them to answer. Unknown scenarios happen. We cannot anticipate situations that are outside our control. So don't control their narratives. This applies online and in real life.

Check on them if they haven't answered in a long period of time. Not if they have already mentioned beforehand why. You make enemies quicker that way.

Take your time. Friendship is an ever growing adventure.Give them time.

#6 About Clarity in Conversation, Conflict Etcetera

#6 About Clarity in Conversation, Conflict Etcetera

Now people; listen. This is a topic that is ever brought up with repeatedly.

We all have this same question(s). Did they just understand what I said?

Do they even get what I said? How many times am I going to explain myself? Do they even know what I am even talking about??

Ok ok. Yes; those questions. Now when we enter a conversation....If we need to explain what we're talking about, we need to do it with clarity. Don't just say you're going to Walmart than dodge off to Staples. Come on now. State the facts!

Again. Clarity.

If we are talking to each other; we have to make sure we don't lose our heads doing it. Otherwise we end up calling each other dummies and saying no one understands the other. Be open. Even if you cannot speak or do something, you can still communicate clearly.

We are not perfect human beings and we have those moments. Now don't use those moments to lie about what you're doing. That's just rude.

Now misunderstandings do happen. But we can't leave them hanging all the time. Misunderstandings need to be cleared up. Wait, be patient. Then reconvene and talk through the misunderstanding. Clear it up.
